I will look again . I'm only getting about 2500 miles out of a rear tire
. I've got about 1500 miles on this Avon & figure after Biketoberfest
I'll be close to a new one . Really
like the Avon except that it will breake loose when over all the way .
Too much of a fall off in that last 1/4 inch of travel & the edge is
almost gone . Can lessen it if I keep last 1/4 inch scuffed up or
cleaned off .
If you go to the Metzeler web site it says that the ME880
has a reduced tread curvature in the middle to create a larger contact
patch when running straight . I felt this with my hand at the dealer
last month when I bought the Avon .
I have not run the ME880 & if you tell me that it is a superior tire
to the Venom X I will try one . The big problem I have with the Me 880
is it only comes in a H speed tire because it is a cruiser/touring tire
. I have found in the years gone by that a V rated tire is manufactured
at a closer tolerence as as far as tread alingment or runout .
Just asking questions
Eric H.
