I did a little looking and the Link 10 is different from the Link 1000 in that it does 
not have inverter control built in??  The 1000 is 
shown as having inverter control and the 2000 as having provisions for 2 battery 
banks....The Link 10 is shown as a  round faced 
meter and the 1000 as a square panel like the remote....sorry if this adds to the 
confusion....
