I save all of my .psd files for the modules that I've created just for this.
Several weeks after I had done it, someone pointed out one night a couple of
relatively minor errors with the map for "The Mighty Endeavor". Loaded up the
.psd and within 10 minutes I had the corrected map ready in an update for the
module.
Those layered files can get to be quite large though. A map that's like
2200x2600 (or so) with a good bit of layers can be upwards of 200+mb.
I'm doing the maps for the upcoming game "Red Star Rising" from MMP. Those
files were getting so big that I had to split my .psd's into quarters.
Combined it was over a gig in size and my computer was just refusing to even
open the thing except on a very fresh reboot with everything else unloaded.
