Chris,
I am not in that lab right now, but I think the extension pack is included
in the guest addition, I will check on Monday when I get back on campus. I
usually use Debian, but could never get VB to work properly. Since I do not
have time to play with it right now as I am using it for my classes, I have
not looked into it anny further. I was actually able to get the extension
packs installed in debian, but I could not get networking to work. Right
now I am using VB only for doing desktop assignments on the VM's so I do
not need networking. But you are right, this is pretty convoluted. I will
look into this on Monday and will be back in contact if I find anything.
