Actually, there is an annoying aspect to that, as VboxManage refuses
to install the latest vertsion until the previous version is removed,
and it does not offer to do that for you.
Furthermore, I had no clue as to the precise definition of the version
to be removed, and it won't remove it without its name (of some kind).
Happily, Pablo told us in here earlier:
"Open up VirtualBox Manager:
File > Preferences > Extensions, etc."
and it shows which Additions version is installed.
Better still, if one R.clicks on its name then it will offer to
remove those Additions. Bingo!
So - a SUGGESTION:
VboxManage install... should offer to remove the existing Additions.
(Is there any reason why it should not automatically remove them?)
