have you tried snagging or bowfishing ? it's fine that you have your opinion, and i respect it, just as i have mine and,i would hope, you respect it. however i think that with a species like carp that is so abundent here it is not damiging the resource at all and it's fun after all isn't that what fishing is supoosed to be rather then a set of rules defining what makes a sportsman and what doesn't ? also perhaps i miss read your letter but i belive you said you would see it as a sport if the fish was introduced and dameging the native fishery it seems to me that that would have no bearing on weather it was sporting or not. well i'll stop typing now thank you for your opinion -eric
