does montana have any coho or kokane to amount to anythig ? my guess would be they are landlocked ? i believe that here in NE we can snag salmon during gamefish snaging season but that is because they were put here in the first place (I.E. the aren't native to NE) is it the same in Montana or do they come that far up the rivers ? i still i'm not saying i agree with it but that might be why. BTW i don't have any problem with snagging paddlefish or carp or any rough fish as long as it's done with in regulations i spent a week out at a sand pit at our church camp trying to get thoses carp i finaly snagged one that went 'bout 15# but he broke of it's such a rush though to actually see the fish and then trying to lead it and get the cast off with out scareing it it realy is quite difficult. P.S. i also shoot carp with a bow i would recomend all you bowhunters out there try it it is grat practice as far as stalking and what not since caro are perhaps the wareiest fish period and again it's such a rush. well i've already typed more then i planed. time to finnish these goddards c ya -eric
