Hey Jerry, Maybe, it's because I tried spinning deer hair before I had any real idea of what hte heck I was really doing, and no real models but those pictures in the books I picked up. I mean there was no way my flies weere going to look like those. Anyway I found that it really isn't that hard after a few times of trying to do it if you let the thread do the work. I feel like right hand is simply keeping the hairs from falling on my table and my bobbin and thread are moving and holding the hair around the shank. I know it sounds condescending but I am not trying to be. Just relax and try. If this idiot can do it then you most definitely can.
