Hey Maurice
A couple of ideas for you to keep in mind. First select the right
hair for the job. Example I will use mask hair or caribou for the small
stuff and go up in length and coarseness as the fly gets larger. Don't be
afraid to spin it around with your finger or tool so you get the fill that
you want. By the way a piece of banding metal makes a great brassie style
