If you need a sample I'd be glad to swap flies with you.  I don't get to see
a lot of salmon flies or spey flies here in Rhode Island.  I'm trying to
learn more about tieing these.  I noticed a few of you talking about
menhaden.  The flat wing menhaden pattern works very well.  I tie it around
nine inches long. If tied correctly they won't get wrapped around the hook.
