Thanks Dan and everyone, I will compare it with what John sends, (unless it
matches) and do the tests. This should prove to be interesting, he dropped
off the rod a while ago and it has been repaired at least twice, the tip
section is "Spliced" so it may take some doing, ( both cosmetic and
functionally) to make it cast properly. Seams folks think I can fix
anything...

4,8,14,21,29,37,45 1/2,54,65  or put the top guide 4 1/2 inches from the
tip, the stripping guide 28 to 34 inches from the butt, space out the rest
in a eye pleasing pattern the do a stress test. Flip the rod over with a
line from the butt to the tip and bend the rod using the line adjust the
guides when the line touches the blank. Dan
