Remember guys that the guide placement can vary from one blank to another.  Even of the same maker, between models.  Always check with some line  run through the guides for a nice even arc when the blank is bent.  Do this be fore you wrap the guides.

Hey Jimi-

I'm at work right now, if nobody has given you a definite answer by late tonight (I get off at 11 PM) I'll look it up and send it to you. My wife got me 3 books on rod building for Christmas, so now, apparently I have her blessing to start digging a new money hole. Woo-hoo! Rod building here I come. Actually have a blank and all the fixings sitting in a corner of the tying room awaiting my attention, gonna get on it after the Holidays.

Hope you and your family had a good Christmas.

BTW, I think PETA Sally is yanking our legs pretty hard. Just a little too far over the top to be real.

Dose anyone have the placement measurements for an 8' fiberglass fly rod ? A
friend of mine has one that all the guilds are gone off of it and he wants
me to try to "Fix" it. More than likely I will have to remove the epoxy
finish off of it as well, any tips ? And, before anyone asks, this rod was
"re-built" ounce before so I have no idea which guild marks are the correct
ones, whoever did it before just "Stuck" them on and believe me, they were
"Way" off of what it should have been.

Thanks,
Jimi
