I have only
8 Wt rods. Amanda has a 5 wt that I got for her. I would like to try a 3 to
6 weight and am trying to put one together now out of parts pieces that
hopefully will be in that range. Since all I have used is 8 weight I wonder
how my casting will be affected ?
Oh baby, oh baby, oh baby! World of difference between weights and slow to fast rods. Get thee to a shop or show and try them out. Consider the weight of the fly and fish you are seeking. Ask many questions.
