I was taught this by Ron Alcott and I haven't
damaged any feathers yet. I use a pot of boiling water on the stove for
steam and just waive the feathers through it. He used tweezers
I usually use my fingers to hold the feathers. That's a good gauge for me
if it is getting too hot. It does a beautiful job of cleaning
them.
