aahhhhhhhh, once again I get to voice my opinion. (which doesn't amount to much in the home, maybe here it will) hahahahahahaa, just kidding,
  The choice of bobbin is simple, which ever one is comfortable in your hand. Price, looks or peer pressure shouldn't matter here. It should be whatever you feel you can handle for a certain period of time without fingers and wrist cramping up to the point of disability.
 Now whether or not you use a long nose or short nose bobbin could be a factor also. I personally prefer a long nose bobbin no matter what I'm tying, with flared ends, not a ceramic one either, although that does tend to be easier on the thread.
