Title: Meddelande
Oh, I'm aware of that... the skills in this group of people... just amazing. I decided, after being here not more than a day, that THIS is the place to be if you want to learn as soon as possible.
Unless I get KICKED out of here, my plans are to stay for quite some time...

Nick,
I agree completely.  I've only been tying for a little over a year and it's mind boggling when you see some of the "art" that a lot of these guys, and women alike, can produce from a tying vise.  I was in my first "swap" a few weeks ago, hosted by Daryl Horiuchi, called the "San Juan River Swap" and I tyed up a CDC Biot Caddis Emerger on a TMC 101 #20 and I thought I did a pretty good job on them, but I'll tell you, some of the flys I got back made me think that I'm just not worthy and I could no more "pick up" their cup of coffee let alone "carry" it...  LOL ...  But I've learned that it takes time and patience, and the info/tips I've picked up here at VFB, in such a short time, is invaluable.

Tight lines...
