Subject: Re: [VFB] Hackle size

Steve,
that's true. I have a hard time sometimes as well, to find larger and
webbier hackle - for parachutes and Buggers.
All the new saddles I got, are focused on the smaller, webb free
feathers. Whitings Hebert miner saddles seems to go for the larger ones,

but I'm not sure.

Thanks to (almost <G>) all who replied on my question. Hackle size seems

to be a very personal thing. But what are the official proportions for
a mayfly, a caddis?
Wondering in Germany
