Don it is a probably a hard wear problem Most likely your memory. I will not put up with an illegal operation message myself, The first thing I do is format the hard drive, after that if I still get the illegal operation or blue screen of death, then I start replacing things. Memory mother board, video card, If that doesn't do it I use a ball pin. Works every time. 'Nuff said.
