Pete, have you already got your materials? You can buy Glow Bug yarn in all 
the Salmon/Steelhead colors, yellow, red, orange, pink, blue and purple. The 
blue and purple is to represent the dead eggs. Glow Bugs and Sucker Spawn 
are prolly the fastest (tying) flies known to man kind. Same with an 
Inchworm (curved nymph hook),....hope you have the right hooks? Gamakatsu 
makes a Glow Bug hook especially for that fly. I just gave some to a buddie 
who uses them a lot up north on the Salmon river. Sucker spawn is usually 
yellow/orange. There's a fly called Mark's Carpet Fly (different mark, lol) 
that uses all the different colors (including white) in one fly, which is 
supposed to represent an egg "cluster."  I tye those on an Eagle Claw hook 
quite a bit bigger than the original. You can just use regular knitting 
yarn. Just cut strips and lay all colors on top and tye in. Do the same 
thing on the bottom, and then trim. Very easy and fast. Now tell me Pete, 
why would you go to the Lil' Lehigh and use these flies. I think suckers 
spawn in the spring first of all. Same deal with the worms.....spring 
creatures. I would use streamers, big streamers. Big fly, big fish, dig? The 
hits are tremendous. mark..........

Hey, everyone!
  It looks like I'll be going up to the Lil' Lehigh river this weekend 
(WOO HOO!  Friday 6am til late saturday), and a fishing buddy of mine 
suggested some flies.  I have several Trico patterns, but was wondering 
about 3... and unfortunately, he's now overseas, so I can't ask him.  Now 
forgive my ignorance - I'm not good with "known" patterns, but does anyone 
know:

the Globugs, Sucker Spawn, or Honeybug Inchworm patterns?
Any help before Friday morning would be great!  I'm a moderately fast tyer, 
but it'll be hard to get the bugs tied friday morning with the 
caffeine-and-anticipation induced hand-quivering!  This will be the first 
time out in over a month, almost two months!
