OK,,I have 3 fly vests and just "invested" in the chest pack from Cabela's
2 years ago. I do like the chest pack as it does hold a lot of things in front
and opens to a flat area that isn't going to drop everything into the stream
when I open it up. I do use my vests now on the canoe, I just \feel to cluttered
when wearing the chest pack in a canoe or boat. Now I keep the vests set up,,1
for saltwater flyfishing,,1 for the canoe flyfishing,,and the last I keep as a
spare if the Mrs. wants to fish with me. I have the chest pack loaded for
everything else. I use them both for the same amount of fishing. It would be
hard to pick which I would rather use.
Good Luck with your decision.
