Message----- I use loops. They are fine as far as I can see. The
"kink" you talk of may be people that use a level length of tippet
material. A friend of mine is a casting instructor and explains it as thus: Another reason the loops kink is if too much superglue is applied
to the loop after you fix it to the fly line. Just a small drop at the sleeve
end should be enough. The drop is applied to the end of the sleeve nearest the
loop of the braided leader loop. Hope that helps matey KP -----
