wouldn't leave my shrimp fly be. Kept swooping down, grabbing it, and

to fly away with it, even though every time I jerked it away from him. I
fed him some line once and got my longest cast ever. We were cracking up
at
how gullable he was. I finally had to stop casting until he flew away.

Texas State Record Seagull on a Puglisi style, about 5 miles offshore.
Grabbed it out of the air on the back turnover. Boy was he indignant!!
Didn't struggle a bit. He just sat there on the water giving me the
evil eye.
