Chuck, remember the 'Whirly-jig' lure? It did exactly the same thing. A fine
trout tippet wouldn't allow much spinning, tho.

John: I tied a "housefly" with this stuff, by just making ONE wing, splitting
a "V" in the middle, and leaving a piece to tie in with.. It DID spin around in
the water, unfurling the leader..But. . this turning over and over in the water
drives bluegills CRAZY.. Don't know about trout or other fish...My foam beetles
sometimes spin about 3-4 times after hitting the water as well, and they are
cut from 2mm craft foam, but that turning a few rounds is all i need to get a
fish to hit..Chuck

Do you find it twists up your line due to the resistance, like Dono said?
IS this the same foam that they pack in electronics such as dvd players? (I
almost said vcr's, get with the times).
