To each his own, I guess.  I didn't really find the Suicide Girls
video-podcast very entertaining...

For the record, I don't either.  If I want to watch porn, I'll find something better than that.
I'm just saying that it isn't JUST an advertisement.  They do a strip-tease act, give an interview, and play a full song in the background.  It's the best example I've found of how an adult company "gets" this medium.

I didn't really mean "spamming" per sé, but that it is a waste of
directory attention for the little people who are making sincere
vlogs.  How-to-Do Girls is an example of a videoblog who is registered
on many sites and is basically an ad campaign to sell DVDs.  Sure,
this is fine... but compared to the work that real videobloggers put
into making their shows, taking clips from your movie and podcasting
it seems to negate the efforts of others.

Perhaps directories aren't filled with many ads like this right now,
but I have no doubt it will catch on very quickly.  We will have to
start weeding out the ads at some point.

I haven't seen them anywhere, but point taken.  We'll have to start weeding out ads for Coke and Marlboro soon too, though.  Businesses in general.  The adult companies will just come first, as they usually do, and take the brunt of the public outrage.  Paving the way for nice little companies like Kraft and Exxon.

I just realized I don't care about any of this.  I'll stop writing now.

But wait, the original post, I read that story yesterday, that kid's parents should have their hands cut off.  It doesn't relate to vlogging though.
