That sounds grim. I read here: http://forum.videohelp.com/viewtopic.php?p=1401036&highlight=#1401036 that encoding with the PSP preset in ffmpegX will produce files that will play on both PSP and iPod. The comment was posted on Nov 04, 2005. If that's true (I can't test it right now) then it would seem to be a good encoding strategy. Can anyone confirm whether this works or not?
