Like Yegappan said, many contributors are mentioned under ":help credits". Christian and Yegappan are there at the very bottom (they are "last but not least") and I am there too, though I didn't specifically ask for it AFAIR, and I feel flattered, though as far as I'm concerned, "by Bram Moolenaar et al." (which appears on the ":intro" splash page) would have been enough. I do what I feel is my duty — I contribute within the limits of my capabilities in exchange for free use of this fine product — and the only credit I need is that of my own conscience. Everything else is extra: I welcome it but I don't run after it and I don't require it. YMMV, but this is Bram's backyard, ball and bat: anyone is welcome to play (as long as he doesn't make a nuisance of himself) but he makes the rules.
