What kind of drive is it? That is, what BRAND is it? If it is not
an Apple drive, you most likely will need a driver. Google for
"CD-Sunrise" as a driver that can "see" most non-Apple drives.

Thank you.
I downloaded and installed CD-Sunrise. No luck. Th drive is "Glyph". 
I also installed the extension "Toast CD Reader", removed the Zip 
Drive from the chain, switched SCSI cables and even removed the 
terminator.
