:) Well, I guess I can relate to that. I can see both sides. If they pull this off, Apple could take a big chunk of MS' market and change the computing world. I rate this as unlikely. Or it might just continue on as it is, in a profitable, successful but small niche. I rate this moderately likely. Or it might blow it completely, destroy the Mac market and either get acquired or become just the company that makes iPods. Also, I think, moderately likely. Time will tell. A few months ago, I thought POWER & PowerPC had a chance of becoming a significant platform, taking market share off x86, with IBM, Sun maybe bringing Solaris, Apple, XBox & Playstation3. Plus fun minority platforms like AmigaOne and Pegasos. Now... no chance. Apple was the high-profile sponsor. When it goes, PPC is dead in the water. -- Liam Proven Home: http://welcome.to/liamsweb * Blog: http://lproven.livejournal.com AOL, Yahoo UK: liamproven * ICQ: 73187508 * MSN: [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- Vintage Macs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
