So, is Intel just going to manufacture the chips, or will they have an active part in developing their architecture?
Sounds like you're already planning Apple's funeral. I think the only way that Apple will die out, is if everyone jumps ship when they make the conversion to Intel chips. Although, looking at some of the messages in this thread, that very well could happen. Oh, well. I think pretty much everyone will be running some flavor of Linux in 5-10 years, regardless of the CPU they're running it on.
