    I had checked thesamba and the charts had not listed the AF series. I was 
wondering whether I had read an E as an F. 
 
    The distributor may not be the original or can be changed over to an AE one 
should the need arise. The carb is already changed over to a 30 PICT along with 
an adapter to fit the wider dual port manifold. So thats again not a concern.
 
    I know nothing about the I/M codes. This particular unit did have the nifty 
'M-240' plate sandwitched between the generator pedestal and case.
 
    Since the new owner would go for a complete rebuild, we can hope to end up 
with an engine with some extra ponies.
