Scott, I had the same problem with full throttle. I used washers to fix that as for a throttle cable I bought a heavy duty cable from Aircooled.net and after I hooked it all up I cut it and soldered the end of the cable. The part # is FSC0004. I think they are $16.00 I will never replace another cable. I have Taylor 409 spark plug wires and I wire tied then in pairs. Routed them over the linkage and attached them to the fan shroud in the stock outer most location.

It was mounted on the original linkage, I don't know what I am supposed to do with it now. And, I need to run my spark plug wires a different route as they rub on the linkage when it moves. One last thing...I need a shorter throttle cable now.
