Scott,
I just used the throttle cable. I bought a t that had a mounting tab on it and 
I attached it to the rear of the fan shroud. I also used Hard line to the carbs 
with just a short piece of fuel line between the hard line and the carb inlet. 
I did the same with the fuel line from the pump to the t fitting.

I used Plumbers solder and a propane torch to get the cable hot enought to get 
good penetration of the solder.

I will try and take some pictures so you can see what I did.
