Hello Les. I would agree with you on this provided that people don't
bash one another because of it. It's ok to vent, and it's ok to have a
mature heated discussion, but it's not ok to bash and talk down to others.
Thanks.

I'd like to offer a suggestion. Rather than criticizing people for complaining
and adding to this thread, why not allow people to have their say and let it
go. I cannot blame someone for being frustrated if they lost access to a
feature they had before an upgrade came out. We're always told to upgrade the
OS as it fixes bugs and security holes. Yet, when we do and something is
broken as a result and we express concerns about it, some are chastised for
doing so. No, Apple doesn't owe blind people access, and yes, people should
keep writing Apple in a constructive manner. But if people want to blow off
steam, better they do it here than with Apple where they will likely be
ignored. JMO

This is my last note on this topic.
In this case, it is actually all Apples fault. They had the HIMS drivers
working fine in IOS 5.0. Apple broke that in 5.1 when they added the
Humanware Brailliant BI.
Since HIMS was coming out with a new braille display and a new note taker,
they gave Apple the updated drivers shortly after 5.1 came out.
Apple release 5.1.1 without doing anything about the problems they created
with 5.1.
The calendar bug is 100 percent Apple's issue, not dependent on any third
party.
I'm done now.
I think I'll take a long break from this list now.
TTFN,
Richard

It's not all Apples fault either, the developers of the 3rd party products
need to fix there lose ends too, it's a two way street. Everything isn't
Apple's fault.
