Hi Patty,

I said in the email below it was a Christian Radio app.

What kind of app is this? I never heard of it.
Reminds me of the Crhistianbook app, which they think by offering text it fixes
their non voiceover user issue. It does not and in fact I have never once been
able to use that app.
I told them if they really wanted their app to reach everybody they needed to
fix it, but it didn't make any difference.
All apps should be accessible but ones like this that claim to want to be
reachable to everyone really need to take note.

Hi Group,

I have downloaded and used the AFR app for a few years. This app is a Christian
radio station. The old app they had was accessible. Now they came out with a
new app about six to eight months ago and it is not accessible at all. You
cannot hit the play button with VO on. I sent an email to them informing them
of all this. I received an email back and responded back to that email. The
answer I got back from them was that VO did not work with their system. I don’t
believe this person knows what they are talking about. The email I received is
below. I would like to know if anyone else would like to send them an email at
this address [email protected] and complain about the AFR app not being accessible
when their old one was. I would appreciate any help on this matter and your
emails to this company.

Thank you for contacting us. I am sorry, we are unable to offer the Voice Over
with the new system.

Subject: AFR app

Hi,

I would like to inform you that when you updated the AFR app for Apple products
it does not work with Voice Over. Your old AFR app was accessible using Voice
Over which allows blind and visually impaired people to use your app. Since you
have updated your new AFR app about eight months ago it is no longer accessible
for Voice Over users on the Apple products. The problem is I cannot choose the
play button on the AFR app using Voice Over. So could you please send this
email to the person who can fix the issue with the AFR app to make it work
correctly with Voice Over. Voice Over is used on Apple devices to allow people
that are blind and visually impaired to be able to use all the Apple products
such as iPhones, iPads. If you have any other questions regarding this please
email me and I will be happy to explain the issue that is causing me not to be
able to listen to the AFR app.

Thanks in advance

Ed
