I still have a 5s. Yesterday, I was trying to increase the sound of the ringer and within games. I was having quite a time getting the volume to increase. In fact, I was never able to set the volume to 100%. I just updated my 5s to 8.3. If I have anything new or different to report, I will send a follow-up message. I upgraded to IOS 8.3 right after getting it, so I didn't know if it were 8.3, I have no reason to think so. But the adjustable sliders in, say the Bard app, or Voice Dream, won't adjust, no matter what I do. I know how they are supposed to work, how they work on my other phone, but not on this one. I have removed both apps from the app switcher and restarted them, and have rebooted the phone. I restored it from the backup of my other phone, but I wonder if something is wrong with this phone, being that it seems to be a problem with the adjustable sliders, not a specific app. This is not starting out well with my new phone.
