Tony! maybe 200 is a default setting. My "recents" folder, I think, had
around 150 calls in it.

I assume you can change the number of called stored in the recent list. My 4s
stores 200 calls.

Indeed it is Daren; here’s how you do it:
1) Of course, have the Recents tab in the phone app in focus.
2) Locate the entry you desire.
3) Find and double tap the “More Info” button immediately after the desired
phone number.
4) Depending on whether you want to create an entirely new contact or simply
add the selected number
to an existing contact double click the appropriate number.
That will place you into an edit dialog for the new or existing contact.
