Hi Donna, I would definitely not get an iPhone 5S since when the iPhone SE was released just a while back it is replacing the iPhone 5S. I don't think you can even buy a new 5S any more now and definitely you won't be able to by this fall when the iPhone 7/7 Plus or whatever they will be called will be released. It will be interesting to see if the smaller 4 inch phone which the SE is, will also get another update. I wouldn't put it past Apple to release a new phone in April and give it an update in the fall and then keep the older one around as a less expensive option. Anyhow, you definitely want to look at the iPhone SE and not the 5S, at least this is my thought on this.
