Hi Mario, These accessibility improvements apparently exist for many of us. I am the one who posted about them first and while Larry seems to have some issues, it seems that everybody else seems to have the same experience as me. This also seems to include both Jaws and NVDA users. The fact is that a little over a months ago I received a replacement for my iPhone 6S Plus and I was at an Apple Store with my laptop. I was not able to select any ringtones to sync, I wanted to sync a couple of dozen apps which were all in my iTunes library to my phone and I could not select them to sync. As of yesterday I am able to do all of those things and since I know some people are using and have asked about iTunes File Sharing, I am happy to report that it also works again just fine. I easily and quickly added half a dozen MP3 files from an audio book to Voice Dream Reader using iTunes file sharing and then synced them to my iPhone. When I opened Voice Dream Reader the files were there. All of these things I was not able to do since iTunes version 12 was released in September of 2015 and I suggest you check the facts before posting the accessibility improvements do not exist. Maybe something with your installation or combination of applications you use is causing a problem, but before you laugh down at me from the high horse you are sitting on maybe give it another try, perhaps you need some instructions on how to properly use it?
Best regards, merry christmas and let’s hope it will be an accessible new year! Man you make me laugh In my iTunes 12.5.4.latest update, the accessibility enhancements that you talk simply do not exist. Does Apple like you more than some people in the group who did not have the magic of accessibility improvements in their iTunes apps? Whatever they did, it not worked. And you know why? Because they did nothing. Keep dreaming, this is what is happening in your heads. Sure you still want to write to Apple and thank them for the complete turnaround they made with the latest iTunes version? cheers. I haven't checked on file sharing yet, but managing your iPhone's content has once more become accessible. Whatever they did, it worked. I’ve put off commenting about this thread because I don’t want to really get involved. Apple is a huge corperation and if customers don’t come to them with a problem, they cannot fix it. I work in customer service and while we deal with irate customers who want their product to work correctly, we are more likely to listen and respond to those customers who approach us with kindness and explain the problem they experience in detail. In other words, if apple doesn’t know it’s broken, they can’t fix it. I urge everyone to write accessibil...@apple.com<mailto:accessibil...@apple.com> and explain whatever problem they’re having. I assure you, that in time, apple will indeed fix the problem. I have bitten my writing tongue for some time since IOS 10 came out. I don’t know where the moderators are for this list; but this topic needs a healthy and fast stop. Apple is not the only corporation making changes to software which either change or make more difficult our use of the technology we have come to depend upon. AVG has now become incompatible with JAWS for version 18. I went to download the new version the other night, and it locked up my tablet to the point where I had to make a mad dash to see my computer guys at Staples to help me dig it out. The fact is software always comes out with bugs. I didn’t understand that in the beginning of the whole computer revolution, and I still don’t; however, this is the way it is. As consumers, we must act accordingly. We can either find work-arounds, change devices or wait for the next update. Whining about it isn’t going to make it be fixed any faster, and approaching the manufactures and writers of software with the negative tone I have seen by some on this list won’t get anything done faster and might even curtail Apple’s willingness to work at any of this. Furthermore, turning this into a racial discrimination matter is just beyond ridiculous. STOP IT RIGHT NOW!!! This list and its members just aren’t like that, and bringing that issue into the discussion here is appalling . We are all facing problems as technology changes, and all I can think of is that we have way more than some of us had when growing up. People who want things to change could study and major in computer programming and engineering and work in the field as so many, including some on this list have done. Having intelligent conversations with tech support, offering suggestions might help. But, the vitriol won’t get us anywhere. I am sorry to get upon my 67-year-old high horse, but knock it off right now! Do something positive to help the situation rather than wasting time whining and complaining.
