I've seen this on multiple sites, and I've never thought it was petty or
demonstrated any arrogance or desperation. I never felt like I was being
held hostage or forced to do anything. I didn't view it any differently
than I do those post sales or support surveys you get asked to fill out
from time to time. I provide the information if I feel like it and
ignore it if I don't. Since I got such great customer service from
SpeedDots, I'd actually go out of my way to help them out and provide
this tid bit of information.
