Hi,
I don’t like the plastic screen protectors that come with the Otterbox
Defenders. We bought two phones with Otterboxes for our lab and because there
was a hair-thin gap between the screens and the protectors, the screens were
considerably less responsive to taps, which prompted us to remove the plastic
protectors. I’ve used glass protectors with Mophie cases and they worked great
but in my opinion the AT&T store charged way too much for the glass, $50 if I
remember correctly. Is that really a reasonable price for a glass screen
protector?
So right now I’m using an Apple battery case and no extra glass and I’m fine
with it. I just try to be extra-careful with my phone to make sure it’s not
knocked about. Any minor wear and tear on the screen will likely come from
contact with keys and other stuff I carry in my pocket.
