I've used Otterbox quite often, but had almost as many Griffin survivor ones too, which look even more robust, all be they a bit bulky and clunky-looking.
As for the car thing, I can see scenarios where it could survive, which it did; it's all in the detail. Bottom line is - exceptionally lucky. Not sure what pressure tyres are pumped up to over there, but even as a spread loaod, it would have been an awful lot for a screen, even with a protector. Well, I heard it for myself, and a lot of people standing around that seen it happen were amazed also. These are the same cases they use in the Military because they are so durable. If I hadn’t been there, I would doubt it also, but I have seen and heard some amazing things from otter box, that’s why I continue to use them. > On Dec 1, 2017, at 10:56 AM, Sieghard Weitzel <[email protected]> wrote: > > Hi Kliphton, > > I hope you don't mind if I'm skeptical, Otterbox Defender cases might be > good, but if two cars actually ran over this iPhone in > the Otterbox Defender as in one of the cars wheels actually drove right over > it and this happened twice then I highly doubt an > Otterbox Defender would leave an iPhone inside completely undamaged.
