Thank you, Mark, for jumping in. I admit my question is prompted by curiosity. Knowing the answer won't assure that I will use the app more skillfully. At any rate, implicit in my question is another one: Is my experience about the BARD app's low storage content the same as other people's? Since no one has said this is odd, I'm concluding that this is normal. I have never before run into a situation where an app's downloaded files are not included in the app's storage area itself, and I wonder why the BARD folks made the app act in this way. In the case of the Audible, Kindle, and iBooks apps, for instance, I'm pretty sure the app's files are embedded where one might expect them. Oh well, life is too short to ponder everything. The bottom line is that the BARD app works very well overall, and I'm glad to have it.
