When I first got an iPhone, my daughter-in-law said, you need Apple Care. Well she does, because she and my granddaughters are always going around with cracked screens. I didn't keep it. It could be that life style has something to do with it. At that time, I had a Verizon plan and Apple Care for phone maintenance and some other kind of insurance for if my phone was lost or stolen. I have neither now.
