There is actually a restart button You have to go to
general/accessibility/assistive touch/then go down to custom action.
Then you can choose one of these under custom by opening it and
going down to restart as the custom action. Then you will have a
menu on your screen when you turn assistive touch on. The menu
button will be down towards the lower right side. When you tap on
this menu you will have a button that says restart. When you tap on
it then your iPhone will shut down and restart on it own just like a
computer does when you press restart.

You would consider shutting the phone off and starting it up again
as the restart/reboot. If you think in Windows terms where you have
a restart option which basically shuts the computer down and boots
it back up all in one step then no, that does not exist in iOS.

I'm not sure you can do a straight restart in iOS, at least I
haven't been able to find it yet. You can do a hard reset, which I
think restarts the phone. The process for doing this varies
depending on the model, so I will let others describe that part.
