For what it's worth, a Plus model phone is bigger, but it also comes with a longer lasting battery. It does come down to personal choice. I have bigger hands and have gotten used to the Plus sized phones, but to each their own. I would encourage you to look at a plus size phone at an Apple or your carrier's store to see/feel the difference. It didn't take me long to adjust to the increased size when I moved from a 7 to the 7 Plus.
