My reasons for continuing to use this iPhone 6 are different. When I got my 5, and this one, Verizon subsidized half the cost. Now that I have to pay it all, I will continue to use this one as long as it will run, and Apple keeps updating it, which in its own way, has hurt Apple sales. Why shouldn't people keep updating their old devices to the latest firmware as long as they can. Then, I wanted to wait until the OLED display made it to the cheap models, which it sort of did last year, hopefully, it will completely replace liquid crystals this fall. OLED is so much more efficient, and besides, liquid crystals are an obsolete technology. Also, the new ones allegedly will have 5 G modems, so even tight old me probably will get a new one later on this fall.
