Hi, Bonnie, I found out by accident that I had lost my Apple Care after having it for two years. The people at Apple Care explained that people can apply after purchasing a phone and can request another year at the same time. However, after that, it disappears. I am on it now because I purchased a new phone. It should be something that people should be able to have all the time but it isn’t.
