There are two versions of the sonos 1 that I know of, One has alexa built in, the other doesn’t, They work with / across 2.4 and 5 g wifi bands or via wired ethernet if you like plugging cables… I don’t know why you would need the amp, As you can do everything from your mobile phone. There is also the older models from sonos, the play 1 which only work over a 2.4ghz wifi network or with a bridge or boost. Note also that the sonos 1 have only a touch sensitive top or nuttons on the top, there are no physical buttons that you can feel Or at least I couldn’t feel them So may be that can help with what you’re looking for.
