Yes, they use same processors. For size, think of iPod Touch as
slightly longer than a credit card, and iPad Mini as slightly
bigger in screen size than that of a paperback book.

Are the processors in the 2 units the same? what about the
cameras? how much bigger is the screen on the IPad mini? I know
you can read all about dimensions but I find it difficult to
visualize them, reference to a familiar object like a CD box or a
classic book or an a4 page would help.
I live quite a way from an Apple store so can't easily go and
handle things physically as I'd like to.
