Hello, Whenever my phone is acting up, I always turn it off and then turn it back on. It's like rebooting a desktop computer. Hold down the top button or sleep button. Until you hear or see slide to power off. Wait 10 seconds and then restart the phone. It usually takes care of most problems. Chuck
